Who We Are, Our Mission, and Our Vision
The St. Louis Pan Asian Collective (STL PAC) is a grassroots, non-hierarchical, coalition of individuals with and without Asian descent. Individuals of Asian descent come from all backgrounds: multiracial, adoptee, South/Southeast Asian, coastal, first/second/third generation, etc. Whatever your story is, you are welcome! Also, welcome Non-Asian friends! We are excited for you to learn, advocate, and be in community with us. Although the content for this group will be centered around the Pan Asian American experience, we are all connected and your struggle is our struggle.
Our Mission is to mobilizes Asian Americans and the Asian diaspora to amplify Asian American voices, challenge systems leading to the marginalization of people, and collaborate with the greater St. Louis area to build a more inclusive and equitable St. Louis community for all.
Our Vision is to make Asian American stories, voices, and lives recognized as an integral part of St. Louis and in the liberation for all.
Our Aims include:

Providing social, economic, and educational opportunities to unlearn, divest, and produce systems outside of the economic and cultural structure that currently exploits and isolates us from each other.

Providing discussion groups where individuals can express themselves and gain confidence in their voice

Supporting and promoting the work and voices of others working towards dismantling systems of oppression

Providing social and culturally oriented opportunities for Asian Americans to connect with each other and find community
